Billy Harty

In 2023, Billy and three of the families he represents founded FortCay Family Office Advisory. Billy brings a wide range of experience and is a trusted adviser to help UHNW clients achieve their financial needs and objectives. He began his career as a US government bond broker on Wall Street. He has worked as a treasury dealer with a major German investment bank and as head of trading in a global fintech firm.

Prior to relocating to Cayman, he was a senior investment manager in Ireland’s oldest brokerage firm. In Cayman, he worked as an investment advisor at RBC Dominion Securities and worked at a London-headquartered multi-family office based in Cayman.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from University College Cork, where he received a Gaelic football scholarship. He also completed a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from University College Dublin/Institute of Banking, held the Series 7, 24 and 63 FINRA licenses and is qualified as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. Billy has completed Level 1 and Level 2 of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program. Billy proudly served as an officer in the Irish Army for six years.
